Breaking the Webflow’s limits with custom code
The Velocity team helped Nesoi launch its very complex landing page. The page have a lot of content and a lot of micro-interactions, so attention to detail was crucial
Nesoi is an AI software that helps students and teachers in the e-learning world. It doesn’t only create courses but also personalizes them, makes them international for better reach, and makes them interactive for better retention. All the teachers have to do is send the materials in any format, and Nesoi AI creates a course in a week. Nesoi’s mission is to globalize learning, make good education available everywhere, and cross the e-learning gaps.
Nesoi's founder, Ali, decided to go with Webflow as a website builder and hosting because of scalability and performance. Since our job was only to develop the page, we had no idea what it would look like until Ali’s design partner was finished. The challenge arose in Webflow's limited no-code options; therefore, additional coding was needed. Another issue was found in the quantity of content. The website had to be optimized really well in order to have all the Google Lighthouse scores above 90.
To ensure scalability and to reduce the need for custom JavaScript and advanced CSS as much as possible, as always, our developers created the whole website using Finsweet’s Client-first framework. That way, we ensured scalability and good performance as well. Besides that, our lead designer noticed some flaws with the user experience and intuitiveness of the design, which were discussed and successfully solved with Ali’s design partner.
Developing a style guide and following a Client -first framework ensured that the development process was smooth and there was no need for more than two revisions. Key figures about the project:
-The development process was finished in 2 weeks.
-Nesoi ranks #1 on Google’s search
-Score of more than 90 on all the Google Lighthouse metrics
-Ali’s calendar is filling up exponentially
This project is the proof that with the right team, everything is possible. It’s also evidence that no-code tools, especially Webflow, are improving every day, but traditional coding is still needed for creating more complex projects.
"The Velocity team demonstrated a good understanding of my requirements, produced an attractive design, and was very cooperative in working together to fix any issues."

Hana's website was a generic WordPress template buried on the 10th page of Google. In just two weeks, we launched a new site ready to boost Hana's conversions by as much as 56% after the first month.
